Admin panel

Admins can remove any member from any channel (except #general) and manage the admin list.

Banned users are signed out, removed from every channel, and blocked from signing back in. Unban to restore access (they auto-rejoin #general on next sign-in; other channels need re-invite).

Invite password

All visitors must enter this password before they can see the sign-in screen. Rotate it whenever it leaks. Empty = gate disabled (open to anyone with the URL).

Emergency controls

Halt activity if the chat is being abused. Read-only mode keeps existing messages visible but blocks new posts. Sign-in lockdown blocks new sessions; existing tabs keep their token until it refreshes (max 1 hour).

Image backup export

One-shot tool: lists every message that has an image attached, so you can copy the JSON and download/back up the originals from Cloudinary. Output is shown in the textbox below — copy it and hand it off.

Public channels anyone can join. Private teams are invite-only and stay hidden until you're added.

Choose what should pop up as a browser notification (PC or Android). iOS Safari needs the app added to Home Screen for push; email delivery arrives with the Phase A upgrade.

Forward to Slack / Teams / Discord

Paste an Incoming Webhook URL from your own Slack/Teams/Discord. While you have BRS Community open in any tab, matching events are forwarded there — so your phone's Slack/Teams/Discord app rings you.

📖 How to set up Slack (private channel for yourself)
  1. In your Slack workspace, create a private channel just for yourself (e.g. #brs-notifications) so only you see the forwarded messages.
  2. Open my.slack.com/services/new/incoming-webhook. Choose your private channel and click Add Incoming WebHooks integration.
  3. Copy the Webhook URL (starts with https://hooks.slack.com/services/…) and paste it below.
  4. Save, then click Test below to confirm a message lands in your private Slack channel.

If your workspace blocks legacy Incoming WebHooks, ask your admin to install the Incoming WebHooks app from the App Directory and post in your channel — the URL ends up the same.

📖 How to set up Microsoft Teams
  1. In Teams, pick (or create) a channel just for yourself.
  2. Click the channel's ••• menu → Workflows → choose "Post to a channel when a webhook request is received" (older Teams may call it "Send webhook alerts to a channel") → Next → Add workflow.
  3. Copy the URL it shows (it contains logic.azure.com or powerplatform.com) and paste it below. Save, then Test.

On an older Teams that still offers Connectors → Incoming Webhook, that URL works here too.

📖 How to set up Discord
  1. In Discord, create a private channel only you can see (Server Settings → Roles, or use a personal server).
  2. Channel Edit Channel → Integrations → Webhooks → New Webhook.
  3. Click Copy Webhook URL and paste it below. Save, then Test.
